In 1974, She was born in Kozan, Adana where she completed first, middle and high school education. In 1996, she graduated from Çukurova University Medical Faculty. In 2000 she completed her residency in eye diseases at Istanbul Dr Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Education and Research Hospital. She worked at the Fethiye State Hospital from 2001 to 2013. She is a member of the Turkish Ophthalmology Association.
